Very high velocity stroke with 5a wooden mallet in paiste pst3 20" crash on stand. Recorded with pair of akg p120 mics on stands and tascam dr-60 mkii recorder. Middle-side recording technique. Middle mic next to crash, side mic in a distance of 1m. Recorded in tiny kitchen with doors closed. Few ringing partials were tamed with parametric equalizer. Sound faded out in flstudio edison. Recorded in 96khz and 24bit.

Amid the din of my neighbor's barking dog, passing traffic and singing birds, you can hear the quacking of a large flock of ducks in the quiet river outside my kitchen window (i don't know the species to this day). I used the built-in microphone of my mini lenovo laptop to record this.

Birmingham uk botanical gardens japanese garden water feature with the cafe kitchen extractor fan in the background. H2 zoom front mic, windshield, some wind noise but not enough breeze to sound the wind chimes.

Glassware rattling and shaking on table. Could be used for earthquake, construction outside of the house or things along that line. Recorded with a zoom h5 internal xy mics.

My keurig coffee maker has been sounding a little rough so i decided to record it with my zoom h1n this morning as it made me a cup of coffee. It's the entire cycle with the general noise of a kitchen. Mainly you can hear my 20 year old fridge humming in the background during the quit parts of the keurig cycle. Don't plan on using it for anything, so have fun with it. The audio from when the coffee starts to pour into my cup is on the left side, so that was pretty cool to listen too on the headphones when i played it back.

The cat, chased from the kitchen tablethen took my chair, since he was able. At the risk of making this too strenuoustwo males in my life are a bit more tenuous;“get your recorder. ” he told me that,and then he proceededto sit on the cat.

Our good old bosch dishwasher is doing its magic. This is a more rhythmic loop. You can hear a glass or bowl squeaking/ringing in the water jet inside the device. Realised to my dismay that this sound was not available. A card tapping and scraping on a ceramic plate. Designed to imitate the noise of cocaine being cut up. Recorded on a tascam dr-40 in a 4m square kitchen. Tea towel was placed under the plate to cut out an excessive noise from the plate itself. Recorded with a low frequency cut off at 80hz.

My first payback to the freesound site!this is two oranges boiled whole for several hours and then mushed with a stick-blender in a medium-sized metal pan. Recorded using audio-technica at897 directly into zoom h4. Slight noise reduction using rx3 denoiser.

Needed a tea kettle sound, so i recorded this. From a hot near-boil to full whistle, and turned off. Apologies for my voice at the end, responding to my girlfriend yelling at me for boiling water multiple times at 11:00 pm. Recorded with at2020 usb directly to audacity on my macbook. Noise removed (i think).

Faucet in a metal sink turned on and off. Hands are run through the water to simulate hand washing. Recorded in a tokyo apartment with a coincidental mic pair placed at a 90 degree angles it's basically a raw recording, but i ran an ssl hpf with the cutoff set at about 28 hz to take out the rumble of the train passing by. . . Since the apartment was near the station, the train sound was unavoidable. But if this is used in a larger mix, it probably won't be noticeable.
